read moreLCFM Native Beta 12 is available today via the private ETS testing program in conjunction with Claris, with many enhancements particularly to syncing and field manipulation. We’ve also implemented support for the new Webviewer features in FileMaker 19. In total, 45 new functions, commands and script steps were implemented since the last release, bringing our % of support complete for all FileMaker script steps up from 66% to 75% – a major jump. Our overall support for the FileMaker entire feature set now stands at 87.5% – for details of what is and isn’t supported please see this document.

The process of Android deployment of FileMaker apps using LCFM Native is becoming increasingly complete, robust and mature. We’ve added support for the vast majority of the FileMaker feature set out of the box and are adding more features every day. We have been partnering and working closely with Claris to improve the product experience throughout much of this year. Claris have been a wonderful partner to work with, their input has allowed us to greatly improve the compile process.
As we near the end of 2020 this seems like a great time to bring you an update on our progress. It’s been a thrilling year of intense activity. We’ve been working hard on adding features, testing, fixing bugs and improving performance in LCFM Native. There have literally been thousands of features, bug fixes and enhancements since the start of the year. We’ve spent nearly 20 developer man years in total on this project and we think you’re going to like the results.

That’s just what our team has been doing. From our spare rooms, home offices, living room sofas and back bedrooms, we’ve been working harder than ever on finishing up the features and adding polish to LCFM Native. So much so, that our latest release has 501 more new features, fixes and enhancements than the last one. No, we’re not finished yet. (You can check the full list of features implemented here.) read moreProgress on LCFM Native continues rapidly. We’ve made some big steps forward in this release. The most notable is that we’ve greatly improved the graphic display performance of apps on all platforms, and most particularly on Android.
LCFM Native 1.2 has arrived. It’s been 11 days since LCFM Native 1.1 but we’ve still managed pack a lot of improvements into this release. Notable improvements include the addition of the OnLayoutSizeChange trigger and adding support for find requests containing values for related fields.
